Ales and Tales: Local Stories of Inspiration featuring Dr. Connie Wan

  • Optimism Brewery 1158 Broadway Seattle, WA, 98122 United States (map)

Who loves gummies? Who loves healthy living? Who loves inspiring entrepreneurial stories from members of our Seattle community?

Foundation is launching a new series in partnership with 1 Million Cups called Ales and Tales: Local Stories of Inspiration. Starting in September, once a month, we will gather together to connect and learn from a local, inspiring story that reminds us that we can make our dreams a reality.

In our first Ales & Tales, we are going to meet Dr. Connie Wan, the founder of the Seattle Gummy Company. A woman so passionate about gummies and the potential for how they can deliver life saving drugs tinto your system that she founded a company to deliver just that.

On top this passion, her entire life story is fascinating and we are grateful and excited to have her be a part of this event to share that story with us. Join us at Optimism Brewery at 5:30PM on Monday, September 17th for a night of inspiration, celebration, and connection.

1 Million Cups is based on the notion that entrepreneurs discover solutions and engage with their communities over a million cups of coffee. The Seattle 1MC Community launched just a few months ago and is a free program designed to educate, engage and inspire entrepreneurs at weekly Wednesday morning pitch meetups. Through the power of volunteers, 1 Million Cups has grown to more than 180 communities.
